New Church

There is a local informal settlement in our Laezonia area, which we discovered had no church..so with the help of a local pastor, Daniel, we have now established  The Laezonia Lighthouse Church.There is no electricity in the area at all and was a hotspot for crime , violence and youth delinquency.

 We are so happy with its progress. We already have a weekly women's Bible study, youth meeting and even a football team in addition to our Sunday service. 

High Schools

The High School ministry has also been developing well........

                          So many receptive young people at this meeting voluntarily after school..nearly 100 last week.

 Saleem has been a wonderful addition to our team and is here introducing time for testimonies.

The theme this week was unity..the strength of being together ..Jesus' prayer is that we as believers be one just as He and His Father were also one. We shared the story of the father who called his 6 quarrelsome sons together on his deathbed.....  he gave them all six sticks and told them to break them...individually this was easy but when he tied six sticks together they were unbreakable.

At the end of the meeting there is time for individual prayer and counselling.

The End Result ............                          WE ARE ALL HAPPY!!!!!!!

Well its been ages since our last post ....i think we have been in the cocoon stage of a huge amount of internal preparation for the future.One part of that has been........

 Property development ...... we decided after much prayer, soul searching and physical searching that we are meant to be on this property and in the last few months have embarked on big developments including extension of cottage, extension of verandah and the development of a vegetable garden and tennis wall.

 Tennis wall also nearly done; we just need to erect a net on top. I just do'nt understand why every ball seems to fly over!
